The Asian Development Tour has opened registration for the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022

BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 has appeared on the schedule of the Asian Development Tour.

On the homepage of the Asian Development Tour (ADT), there is a line that says: “ADT will kick off a new step in Vietnam with the BRG Open Golf Championship -  held at BRG Danang Golf Resort from August 29st to 2nd September.

Since Ho Tram Open in 2015, Vietnam will once again host a regional professional tournament and this time the destination is BRG Danang Golf Resort. For ADT, this is a breakthrough event, marking the first time this system has come to Vietnam with a total prize money of $75,000.

 

 

At the press conference announcing the tournament, Mr. Ken Kudo - Representative of ADT said: On behalf of the Asian Tour, we are very pleased to welcome the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022. The addition of this tournament to the Asian Tour, ADT's schedule, held on the impressive Nicklaus course at BRG Danang Golf Resort, will play an important role in helping to revive major golf events in Vietnam, after three difficult years due to the pandemic

 

This event will also mark the beginning of a new partnership between the Asian Tour and VGS Group as both share the same vision for developing golf in Vietnam through the organization of international tournaments.”

BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 will have a total of 122 ADT members competing with 22 golfers nominated by the Vietnam Golf Association, ensuring a strong playing field with potential players in the region.

In the August’s schedule of ADT, before the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 occur, there will be 2 more tournaments held in the previous 2 weeks in Indonesia with the same total prize money of $110,000. The list of golfers participating in the tournament will be updated soon.
